Sharon Harrilla and Vanessa Smith sponsored by the Adult Education Center

Becky Frey and Barb Perrine sponsored by the Mustang Bar

Kayla Perrine and Angie Hites sponsored by Synergy Baton and Flag

The race began in the Grove City Memorial Park, where one blindfolded teammate had to fill a cup of water from a bucket while their teammate hollered the direction that they should take to get to the bucket (realize that all of the teams were yelling at the same time!).

Next, the teams went to Taco Bell, where they were given three minutes to make the perfect 2.9 ounce taco.  Their teammate had to eat all of the tacos that were not 2.9 ounces, face a time penalty.

Stop #3 was at the Grove City YMCA.  Here the teams were faced with an obstacle course.  They were to maneuver through a series of cones while in a sack-race sack while bouncing a basket ball.

Stop #4 took place at the Adult Education Center.  It is here that the racers were faced with answers from a GED (General Equivalency Diploma) exam.  They were penalized with a time sanction for each incorrect answer.

The next stop was at the Grove City Youth Soccer Association Fields.  The teams were challenged by soccer players who were working as goal keepers.  The racers had three minutes to make three goals.  If they were successful before the three minutes, they were able to proceed to their next task.  They were faced with time penalties if they were unable to complete the task.

Stop #6 was at Northwood Realty Services.  The racers were required to match houses with their correct prices and street addresses.

Stop #7 took place at the Pine Township Volunteer Fire Department.  Once the racers put on some of the fire gear, they had to drag the hose to a designated location, aim, and knock balls off of the cones.  They then had to drag the hose back to its original location.

The final challenge took the racers back to the Grove City Memorial Park. Here the racers had to find a LollyBagger volunteer amongst all of the picnickers in the park.  They were then instructed on how to retrieve their final puzzle piece.  Once they had their puzzle piece, they had to put the puzzle together.

All of the participants are very much appreciated and should be commended on their exceptional use of good sportsmanship
