Summary:
This position reports to the Supervisor. The Child Care Representative will be responsible for the following:
- Provide instruction and guidance to clients in daily activities
- Provide a safe and open environment to clients
- Maintain daily client task schedules
- Prepare Meals
- Assist the clients in meal preparation
- Assist clients in the care and day to day issues in child rearing
- Monitor youth’s safety and whereabouts
- Redirection for maladaptive behaviors
- Monitor social, emotional, and behavioral welfare of the youth
- Tend to and care for the needs of all infants as outlined in the program description
- Report any concerns to the Child Care Supervisor promptly
- May be responsible for other duties as described by the Child Care Supervisor or the Director
Environmental Requirements:
- Must be able to work in an environment that is busy, often noisy, quiet, and air conditioned.
- Must be able to read, write, and follow recipes.
- Must be able to obtain required clearances to work with children
Education and Skills Required
High School Diploma or equivalent + minimum 1 year relevant experience with children. Candidates must be self-motivated with personal drive. Candidates must possess excellent organizational skills. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to exceed patient expectations and possess excellent interpersonal communicational skills and the desire to be a positive influence in a young woman’s life.
Direct Child Care Specialist
- Full-time or Part time position
- Flexible schedule including but not limited to daytime, afternoon, and overnight shifts.
Job Summary
This position reports to the Supervisor. The Child Care Representative Assistant will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting the Child Care Representative in all duties
- Monitor youth’s safety and whereabouts
- Redirection for maladaptive behaviors
- Monitor social, emotional, and behavioral welfare of the youth
- Report any concerns to the Direct Child Care Specialist promptly
- Provide instruction and guidance to clients in daily activities
- Provide a safe and open environment to clients
- Maintain daily client task schedules
- Assist the clients in meal preparation
- Assist clients in the care and day to day issues in child rearing
- Tend to and care for the needs of all infants as outlined in the program description
- May be responsible for other duties as described by the Direct Child Care Specialist, the Child Care Supervisor, or the Director

- Overnight shifts, typically from 10pm until 6am

- Keep up with laundry, as needed
- Tend to and care for the needs of all infants as outlined in the Nighttime Nanny Policy
- May be responsible for other duties as described by the Child Care Supervisor or the Director
